The house is in the ♡ of the island unter the Skaros mountain dipped in green. The small village was in the past centuries, people and land, the property belongs to the monastery of Agios Georgios,which is five hundred meters on the top of the village. Written testimonies show the existence of the village since 325 a.c.
Τhe locals lived from the breeding of lambs and goats, on the mountain forest, and coal production from it, also land cultivation. The immigration starts in 1910 to Amerika and 1960 to Europe and Australia.
That gives the opportunities for hiking in the forest.
The house was completely renovated in 2005, keeping the first line it had in the past, and giving all the necessary comforts of today. The stone walls 1 meter wide kept it cool in summer and together with the fireplace warm in winter.
