What to expect when you stay with us!
Nefeli hotel has 20 rooms in total: 4 Studio Rooms and 16 Deluxe Rooms.
We completed a renovation in all our rooms in 2019, putting new furniture, beds and coco-mat mattresses in place, as well as fully upgraded all rooms' bathrooms - giving our hotel a brand new feel!
Breakfast
At Nefeli Hotel, every morning we serve you a delicious breakfast buffet. Since 2020 and the pandemic, we adjusted our breakfast buffet, so that all our delicacies are served without the use of shared utensils (tongs), as well as arranged the spaces between tables, so as to meet the new required distances. In addition, all our packaging is for one use, ecological, and the utensils used meet the hygiene standards for the indicated temperatures.
Our guests have the choice of enjoying breakfast in our Breakfast Room, their private balcony, or at any of our patios.
The Patios
Our family hotel is surrounded by 4 patio areas:
As one goes through the big gate, they will see our small garden on the right , which is surrounded by ceramic pots. This garden is communal and an ideal chill-out spot for the guests inhabiting our Studio Rooms mentioned above, as it is situated in front of them.
To the left of the entry gate we have the cocktail patio, with small round tables under a large umbrella. This patio got its name for obvious reasons, as it the the perfect spot for an aperitif before dinner, while overlooking the pedestrian walkway.
As we move further towards the other end of Nefeli hotel, we have the paved patio, with its 4 small tables, hammock and the cooling shade provided by the bay laurel trees that surround it. This is one of the coolest places to be, even during mid-day, when the heat heats peak levels. As it is also quiet, the paved patio is also the best spot for afternoon reading and relaxation.
Finally, there is also the upstairs patio, located on the 2nd floor of Nefeli hotel. Equally quiet and serene, the upstairs patio is dominated by the olive tree that provides shade, along with a fresh and atmospheric feel.

Agios Nikitas is a small coastal village on the northwest side of Lefkada island. What's more, it is also the place of birth of one of Nefeli hotel's founders, Panagiotis! The residents of Agios Nikitas are much like Panagiotis himself: simple, direct, with a dry sense of humor and a positive outlook on life. Agios Nikitas is a traditional village that can be described in a similar way to its people; as amiable, accessible, hospitable and, ultimately, captivating!
Nefeli hotel was built in 1990, right at the heart of Agios Nikita, on the famous pedestrian walkway that runs through the village. At a distance of only 100m from the beach, our location can be described as ideal!
The beach of Agios Nikitas is perfectly suited for families who want to take a swim without leaving the village, while close enough to enjoy coffee and food amenities. The beach's clean waters can provide parents with a sense of safety for their little ones. There are also plenty of small boulders, perfect for providing adventurous spots for older kids to play and dive from!
The beaches of western Lefkada are famously the most spectacular on the island, according to the travel platform TripAdvisor and its list of Lefkada's most beautiful beaches. What's more, Nefeli hotel's closest beach, on the coast of Agios Nikitas village, is on #13 of said list - regardless of its relatively small size!
Agios Nikitas village has been described as an exceptional location by the island's visitors, as it is a convenient starting point for excursions to plenty of western Lefkada's beaches and villages. The plethora of clean sand beaches and the deep blue color of the sea give way to steep rocky boulders, while the famous turquoise of the Ionian sea playfully combines with the yellow-orange of the idyllic sunsets. In Agios Nikitas, dusk can be mesmerising!
Every summer, private boats depart from Agios Nikitas beach and head to the famous Milos beach, with gorgeous blue waters and thick sand. For the hikers out there, there is a pathway that begins right across from Nefeli hotel that leads to Milos beach; the hike lasts approximately 20 minutes - depending on the number of stops you will make in order to photograph the stunning view from the top!
