Inside: accommodation at Yahli develops over a main floor, which wraps around two sides of a central terrace, and a lower floor bedroom.

The main entrance leads in from a shaded terrace to a spacious and welcoming hallway, the hub of the home.

To the right is a long, free-flowing communal area that communicates seamlessly with the large central terrace via multiple floor-to-ceiling, wall-length sliding glass doors. First is a comfortably furnished open-plan space with lofty wood-beamed ceilings, sink-in sofas and a dining table. A few steps further along is the sleek, well-equipped contemporary kitchen, which comes with central island and breakfast bar and easy access to the al fresco dining area.

The white ceilings and walls, cool grey tiled floors, accents of wood, and occasional splashes of vibrant colour of this communal space provide a blueprint for the rest of the property, which is pleasingly homogeneous throughout.

Back in the hallway, a corridor leads past a guest WC to the first of the four bedrooms on the main floor, a generously proportioned split-level double with en-suite shower room and walk-in wardrobe. The upper level is home to the bed, while a couple of steps below is a sitting area with sofa. Two sets of sliding glass doors bring in the sea views and allow access to the central terrace.

At the end of the corridor outside the first bedroom, a door opens into one of the property's signature architectural features, a wide passageway with lofty a glass ceiling that sweeps from the parking area to the three remaining bedrooms, all of which, like the first bedroom, come with sea views, double banks of sliding glass doors accessing the central terrace, sitting areas and luxuriously finished en-suite shower rooms:

* the first is a split-level double with a walk-in wardrobe
* the second is a double, also with a walk-in wardrobe
* the third is a generously proportioned suite with double bed, and a full-sized living area with large sofa, armchair and a table and chairs

The fifth and final bedroom, another double, is accessed either externally or via steps leading down from near the living and dining area. It has an en-suite shower room, sea views, a sitting area and access to its own shady terrace.

Outside: al fresco living at Yahli has been fully integrated into the design of the property, and guests will naturally gravitate towards the extensive sweep of terrace that develops in various guises on the sea-facing side of the house.

Outside the kitchen, the entrance hall and the living area is an extremely large and wonderfully sheltered expanse of covered terrace, whose ceiling, clad in a geometric lines of well-varnished wooden strips, has an almost maritime feel to it. Furnished with a liberal scattering of well-cushioned sofas and easy chairs, and a dining table looking out to sea, this is a most convivial spot in which to while away the hours.

A couple of steps down below the al fresco dining area is an outdoor kitchen area, with marble worktops, a sink and a barbecue.

This level is also home to the irresistible sea-view infinity pool, which incorporates a shallow area for wallowing and a stretch of placid water for swimming. A mix of sun loungers and sink-in beanbags flank the pool, inviting guests to soak up the warming rays of the Grecian sun.

Little rectangles of low-lying shrubs break up the terrace here and there, and at the far end of the pool is another sea-view sitting area, this one shaded by fragrant pine trees.

Each of the main floor bedrooms opens out onto this terrace and each has its own little sitting area shaded by the same geometric wooden overhangs as the main al fresco living and dining area.

Large, strategically positioned mirrors on the external walls of the house reflect the blues of the sea and the sky and the emerald greens of the surrounding pine woods, creating magical effect.

Last but not least, is the lower floor bedroom, which, as already mentioned, opens out onto its own shady terrace.
